비고(Description) : This is the third member of a genus that derives it name from the country in which they are found. The species is also named after the specific location of its discovery: en-Nammoura. The en-Nammoura location is quite different in its fauna from either Hajoula or Hakel. It is thought to have been slightly younger than either of those locations. Based upon a high level of preserved terrestrial plants, it is further thought to have been closer to land, albeit islands rather than the continental coastline. The closest extant relative is the bonefish Albula, a schooling fish found in shallow water locations. Perhaps these shared a similar habit, making the nearshore en-Nammoura habitat ideal for fish of this type.
