설명(Description) : 미국 신생대 에오세의 그린리버층에는 매우 좋은 화석표본이 많이 발견된다. 이 표본 역시 매우 좋은 표본이다. 잎맥이나 잎자루 그리고 잎의 가장자리모습이 매우 잘 보존되어 있다. 하나 흠이라면 잎 꼬리부분이 조금 보이지 않는 다는 것이다.  이 표본은 무환자나무잎으로 잎은 어긋나고 긴 타원상 달걀 모습을 하고 있다. 그리고 가장자리는 톱날이 아니라 밋밋한 형태를 하고 있다.

Description: The Green River Formation is known for the excellent quality of preservation of its fossils. This is a remarkably detailed example showing the venation quite clearly. The plate is solid and would make a nice display or collection piece. It characteristically has an asymmetrical base, serrated or undulating margins, distinct veins, and a short, stout petiole. Allophyllus is a genus of plants in the family Sapindaceae, members of which still survive today.
